weird parasocial relationships stuff, pissoh since I mentioned Fetlife, I was recognized another time by someone from there, but it was in a 24/7 day picnic in a big public park. my back then owner was part of the organizing association, and he proposed I came along, so we were the first ones there. after some minutes, a couple young women approached us asking "hi, you're here for the (association) picnic, right?". he said "yes! do we look that much like some perverts? heh" and one of them said "oh, no, we just recognized her outfit (referring to me) from a pic in her Fetlife profile"

it was a couple years ago or so. I used to be more active on Fetlife back then and I did have pictures showing my face.
anyway, I was in the bus getting back home from the karting track, browsing Fetlife (yes, I know, I'm that kind of pervert), when suddenly I get a private message. it was from one of my mutuals there, just saying "I think I'm sitting in front of you in the bus right now".
this person didn't have pictures of their face, so it was difficult for me to check, but the fact that I was in fact in the bus was already quite a strong confirmation. I answered his message, and we didn't say anything irl until the end when we were getting out of the bus at the end of the line, when I said "what a coincidence, huh?" and he said "yeah.". afterwards, we just agreed to keep talking via message and got each on our way.

I didn't recognize who was it so I just screamed back "I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE" to which they replied "I KNOW YOU FROM TWITTER". I was quite confused and kinda drunk, so I ended up just answering "AH... WELL, I DON'T KNOW YOU BUT HI"

the first one was the simpler and crazier, I was 17, and quite popular in the local Twitter scene. I was just walking, when someone came from the other side of the street and quickly hugged me. after some seconds, they asked "do you know who I am?", to which I answered "...no", they said "I'm (X) from Twitter" and I was like "oh, uh, hi X"
I must say I do see some people taking that checkpoint more seriously, of course seeing them as the ones in airports, and leaving absolutely all the things in their pockets and stuff in a tray passing through the scanner, when they have never really cared about checking that
oh that being said, apparently ADIF seems to have started adding guys passing a metal detector over you recently to its nonsensical security checkpoints, or at least it was like that last Tuesday.
it was quite silly though, because I was wearing some metallic accessories on my clothes, and carrying my phone in my hand as I always do, and the guy still decided to just pass the detector over me and still wave me through, because of course
