small critique to the progress flaglook, I'm just saying, at some point we're gonna have to stop adding more stripes to this thing. or start adding the rainbow on top again, since it won't be visible anymore
small critique to the progress flag@kitten I wish we could just use the rainbow flag as a universal symbol for pride, solidarity and unity of stigmatized groups. I don't have a problem with all of its variations, but their spread and the addition of more and more symbols (mostly stripes) makes them somewhat exclusive. I don't want the progress pride flag without the disability flag to be perceived as excluding disability pride, but the symbols on it are already so specific.
small critique to the progress flag@kitten also, at this point, why don't we bring the pink and turquoise stripes of the rainbow pride flag back? We're at 18 colors already, what are one or two more?
small critique to the progress flag@kitten Hopefully we won't need a progress flag by then because bigotry will be much less common....... but that is very much hopeful thinking
I'm not sure what the new colors mean... is it age regression?
small critique to the progress flag@kitten In my ideal world, flags wouldn't be there to show support but to show identity... so like, I'd still have a trans flag, maybe a therian flag or something, but a wide need "I support everyone under this banner" would be unnecessary.... unless someone was using it to kinda go "whatever the fuck even is gender and attraction, idk people are just hot sometimes"
small critique to the progress flag@that@kitten ooohhh yeah, I think you're right! I need to be better about the disability flag personally... (ie remembering that it exists)
