- "in that case maybe we should start skipping the kickoff meetings"
- have some people actually consider that

you can get quite far in corporate jobs just by asking the stuff no one else dares to ask

I remember in my past job someone complaining about some tickets not having a story points estimation before the sprint started. it just took me saying "but why does it matter if realistically we are going to get more tasks assigned on the middle of the sprint anyway?" for that to be resolved.
