@kitten Not sure what you're seeing, but Cloudflare is a pain in my ass when browsing on a VPN. CONSTANTLY verifying my "humanity".

I theorize that the AI bots are just swamping everything so badly that they're challenging anyone whose IP comes via a real data center.

@masukomi oh, nonono. the issue is Cloudflare (some of its IPs) being blocked in Spain by order of the Football League. so a VPN is required to properly browse the internet.

(yes I'm serious)

@masukomi the story is kinda complex though. the football league was annoyed because some piracy sites were streaming from behind Cloudflare, and with them starting to rollout ECH they were unable to block by SNI, as they usually did.

so a judge gave them a blank check to force all ISPs to block any IP address they felt was infringing their intellectual property. and they decided to take on Cloudflare.

@masukomi kinda, but it's been going on for more than half a year and nothing seems to be changing, the judge rejected a request for injunction by Cloudflare
