so, if I already have a Play Store Developer account, and I want to publish an app without giving the signing key to Google, will I have to pay for an extra Android Developer account?

I wanted to publish three different versions of FediHome:
- published on the Play Store, with Google services (FCM, Crashlytics), and signed with the key Google has
- published on a website, with Google services, signed with the key only I have
- published on a website, without Google services, signed with the key only I have

@kitten you could create two keypairs, one to give Play Store and another to keep for yourself

@kitten I believe the signing key on google play, is also only the one you have?

@LilaHexe no, Google has the private key of that keypair, so they could easily sign apps in my name without my permission. it's one of the requirements to publish apps in the Play Store.

so I want to also generate a different keypair with a private key that I won't give to Google
