i have found the solution to avoid spamming buzzwords when writing a job application or CV; spam tags instead!

- they're pretty
- fontawesome has monochrome unicode logos for almost every software project you can think of
- they can be fancy clickable links
- makes everything look less boring
- can be generated from metadata

@alina sorry

in this house we have complicated opinions about gradients

@kitten suggest an alternative! (if you want)

some that i have thought of and will implement in the future:
- banners from images, overlayed with some chromatic effect
- repeating SVGs or the unicode logo as background, and dimm them

@alina if you really do want my opinion, I'd go with just plain colors. a bit more boring, yes, but feels more fitting

(also maybe try to go for brighter ones, some of the badges' text have not that much contrast)

@kitten that's what i started out with, but the problem with that is that the either the text or the logo becomes unreadable if they dont have backgrounds that accommodate their required contrasts
