sometimes I wonder what is the extent of the concept "sexuality"

like, obviously it's not limited to plain vanilla sex. but there's some stuff that is... kinda in a weird area regarding that? stuff that is clearly part of my sexuality but it doesn't feel that sexual, specially when you include some "everyday" long-term kinky dynamics

like, for example, as a submissive, there's some stuff I enjoy that goes even beyond pleasure. that makes me feel fulfilled and I consider "what I'm meant to do/be"

I guess that's part of my sexuality too?

bringing it to a bit more to the "extreme"

my ageplay is non-sexual, as in, it doesn't give me sexual pleasure and I do not enjoy it mixed with sexually explicit stuff. and yet, in a way, considering what I explained, it feels like it maybe could fall under the concept of "my sexuality"

like, it's clearly something social for me. and very much intimate, which can prompt some similar feelings (specially trust and bonding)

As far as I got, was calling certain desires "bondage adjacent". And admitting to myself, that I have to lump that into my sexuality / submissiveness , or otherwise, I don't get to have sane access to it.

@kitten It is weird: what we (as a culture) call sex has far more to do with taboos and things we project erotic pleasure on to than it does with actual reproductive acts.

@kitten I find it weird, because we actively do this with the knowledge that it’s going to drive many to shame and exacerbate paraphernalias. There’s an element of self-destruction to the whole process.
