doing this in German to the people I meet here and in Catalan to the people I meet in other places

(thank god I speak Catalan imagine having to do this in Spanish)

like, with 1 on 1 situations I just go with the language I usually speak with that person

but when there's several people involved, with whom your speak different languages?? I guess the one you have in common (which is usually English)?

but what if there's no common languages? that hasn't happened to me yet
