a lot. of people don't really know what interrail actually is and how it's an easy way to make international train travel a lot cheaper (specially if you have a France in the way)

a lot of people think:
- it's only for young people
- you have to request it and get it approved (like an Erasmus?)
- it only makes sense for touristic purposes

like, I've had people tell me while explaining to them my rail adventures: "huh, TIL interrail is not just some kind of program for college students to travel cheap"
