@kitten I'd say that has to do entirely with the language (C/C++) and nothing more. embedded dev with Rust wouldn't have these problems, and non-embedded development with C also has them

@mildsunrise @kitten agreed. The problem is that most embedded development happens in C/C++.

(I have written a Go compiler for embedded, TinyGo, it has none of the dependency issues that C/C++ have. Also I'm biased).
