this also highlights something that goes beyond AI: people overvalue code contributions

everyone wants to be the cool person who implements a feature and gets their code in a popular project. but no one wants to attend the project's meetings and do planning and discussing work

@kitten i’m still mind boggled that anyone thinks a 13k loc PR is somehow magically ok. Like “oh an AI wrote it? Surely it’s perfect and we have no need to review it!”

But i guess that gets back to my comment about people having AI Brainworms

I just wrote a 13k line shell script, where every line is true. I believe it has no bugs and is safe to merge.
