@4censord I'm sure it's not as simple as just this (nor as dogmatic, everyone has their dynamics, this is my own approach to it), but I guess sometimes it's not trivial to interiorize that being a sub doesn't mean repressing your own desires and feelings, but surrendering them for one's Dom to handle as they see fit
