now i finally (sigh) have a MS365 online account thingy for work …
and i have to say: oh lordy, how can MS claim to even work in the IT business?!
- trying to push their proprietary authenticator app, while not even supoorting U2F / WebAuthn
- i'm unable to load my user profile (it ends in a blank redirect page that won't properly redirect me anywhere)
- most privacy invading options are opt-out
- some settings can't be changed without reloading the page
- the time zones for the work hours calendar can't be changed (i'm working in the USA now, apparently)
- account overview pages promotes adding passkeys for login … clicking on it loads the sign-in methods page where i can only add the shitty MS app or a hardware token (the old "shows a number on the display" kind)
- only one TOTP authenticator can be added
how is anyone using this shit?
