i have very bad wifi reception in my room (there are two walls and a fireplace in between). the current router model is a Fritzbox 7430.
there are several options:
A: try to boost tx power in the router.
B: buy a wifi repeater or build one myself.
C: there's a coax cable coming out of a wall in my room...
C1: figure out if internet comes out of it and use a second router? idk if it even works like that, sounds useless.
C2: replace the coax with an RJ45, plug it into the router and put an AP in my room.

no open APs in the vicinity, and no i won't hack neighbors.
mobile hotspot also not an option because i have absolutely no mobile reception here.

what's my best option?

@ember C2 sounds like the safer. a bit of a pain if you don't have access to crimping tools though

@kitten i think terminating a network cable is not the problem, done that before. i prefer that option as well, it's the cleanest and the most satisfying one.
