this stuff always makes me think.
I'm pretty confident at this point in the thought that the way I dress or look or whatever doesn't require other people's consent. as long as I'm not involving them in anything explicitly sexual, it's my life and my body and that's it.
that being said, I still try not to make people around me uncomfortable, and I wonder if this stuff could cause that

like, I'll still probably put it on me. the same way I dress little sometimes, or wear my collar, or may have very clear marks on my skin, when all that stuff clearly makes some people uncomfortable. I won't change that.
but I still want to make it welcome for people close to me to express when any if it makes them uncomfortable. I probably still won't stop whatever thing it is that makes them feel like that, but it's good to know, to take any other possible measures to avoid that
