sad to report it's 7:8 on the with an early TEAC drive with a bent head1 mount that I tried to fix, but then the head spring holder broke off

Team bad drives scored another in the with a NEC drive that seems to have some pcb issues with data from head. To be inspected for cracked solder joints and traces

score for Team Bad Drives, a Mitsuisihi drive with mechanical issues. I fixed position of two springs but it still wouldn't want to latch and the floppy hangs on both top and bottom heads. I fiddled with it for 20 minutes and couldn't get it to work anywhere near properly, nor does it look like anything is bent or missing.

9:11 as a Citizen drive that had some mangled front. I managed to demangle and it works well, but the front pcb cracked and the density select sensor broke off. Likely be fixed in the but not working pile for now.

Score!
Samsung drive needed to have its head position readjusted and a lot of cleaning, now works perfectly and scores, a much needed goal for the win, it's 11:12 now.
But with two drives to go and one of them a Panasonic, the game seems over - let's see how the next drive, a Mitsubishi works out
