Thanks for contacting wolfSSL Support (...) Please let us know how you are using wolfSSL
so, you see, there's these location tracking devices, and I've been asked to attach one to my collar, which gives me immense comfort and satisfaction

kink silly (this library requires buying a license if you're using it commercially, I assume that's the reason for so many questions)

((but since we're at it I might even ask him how to compile it, since I was having trouble with that (?)))

kink silly @kitten Great, now I'm going to have to check what IIO sensor values could be logged for kinky purposes… neocat_laugh_sweat

kink silly @ChaosKitsune @kitten Well, from a quick look through the kernel config listings… Heart rate monitors could be interesting, maybe pressure or temperature sensors. And generic ADC (analog-digital converters) are also handled by the IIO subsystem, so you could get creative. meowgiggle

Connection to "my code" is that I recently wrote this:
codeberg.org/airtower/iio-rrd-bridge
I use it for logging air quality (CO2, humidity, temperature), but it should work for other sensors, too. The CO2 level does show physical exercise in the room, but can't tell if it's from kinky activities.

kink silly @airtower @kitten oh yeah I had considered heartrate monitors before.

Also you may not be able to tell if the CO2 is from kinky activities but if you combine it with heartrate, maybe acceleration/accelerometer data, and more u could probablyyy make a pretty good guess

kink silly @ChaosKitsune @kitten Possibly! Reminds me, a while ago I heard of someone who was trying to integrate an accelerometer into a paddle or similar, to measure the intensity of impact… meowgiggle

kink silly @airtower @kitten ok another idea: could this sort of sensor data be useful for home manager shenanigans?

kink silly @ChaosKitsune @kitten Definitely! I'd like to use the air sensor data to control ventilation and heating, but that's tricky in a rented apartment… neocat_laugh_sweat

The IIO subsystem handles all kinds of sensors (and would be the right place if you want to add more), so pretty much anything you might want to measure would go through there.

kink silly @airtower @kitten yes ofc ventilation makes sense. Basic climate control

But could use this data for sillier things but im not sure what yet.

kink silly @ChaosKitsune @kitten Meow, probably! But I'm pretty sure the answer to that is not in the kernel config options. meowgiggle
