@dee rain, which caused two separate trains derailing, which made the infrastructure operator end up saying "okay that's it all of Barcelona's commuter rail tracks are closed until we've inspected them"

this is two days after a deadly collision between two high speed trains (one derailed for yet unknown reasons and invaded the other track) somewhere else in the country, so the feelings were already running high

@dee well, that, and not that properly maintained infrastructure in the first place. like, yeah there's been some heavy rain these days, but nothing extreme, the derailments were caused by rocks or the trackside wall sliding to the tracks
