in other news my dad just sent me yet another long tweet of some random ceo saying that ai will cause 90% of software jobs to disappear or whatever

i hate that he's becoming a techbro at 60. He wasn't like that. Fucking twitter it really rots your brain

I guess that even if he's taught computer science for 40 years, he never really had to participate in a tech project. So he probably thinks that if chatgpt can code a maxflow algorithm or whatever without bugs it can also replace real programmers in real codebases, which is absolutely not happening.
