since we're talking about this, I won't add anything useful to this thread, but:

in Madrid, there's a station where you can "get stuck" in between two sets of these

there's a corridor with a line of these to get outside of the Metro, and in front, a line of these to get in the commuter rail, no exit or any other way to go.

I like to think of this as a "real life game over". like, yeah, buy a single-trip ticket, leave all your money and credit cards at home, cross one of those barriers, and you're now stuck there (especially since real life has autosave enabled)

@kitten if you get stuck in sinnoh, they give you a tentacool (?) with surf to unstuck yourself. In madrid there's no sea, so you're left on your own.

But hey, at least you won't cross your ex!

@kitten ah I misremembered, it was in heart gold soul silver which came right after diamond/pearl. In the original gen 2 games you could get stuck and they fixed it that way yep, it's so funny www.youtube.com/watch?v=H73ESn6VYvI
