discussing AI this is not about trying to justify them, I just think it'd be positive if it at least led to having "weird" dynamics and needs being more accepted

discussing AI and kink @kitten i don't think getting your need for love fulfilled by a computer is a bad thing necessarily, but for most of the LLM lovers there is a weird defensive possessiveness to it. "Oh but this is real love, they are literally sentient and a person, but also when they say the wrong thing to me I rewrite their mind." Which, as a kink dynamic, is pretty hot tbh if it were real and actually good for both participants. But i am very sceptical about LLMs ever becoming sentient and a person, let alone this kind of relationship being good for them if so. So this kind of relationship seems to be founded on false premises.

Note: this may be slightly too much informed by trying to rationalize my own feelings of uncomfortableness.

(Given that one can easily program the LLM to enthousiastically consent to any ideas, i don't think consent is quite the right question to ask.)
