train station rules, people being shitty, smoking, "security"i have long wondered what DB security actually does, apart from "cleaning up" the platforms, so the station is more palatable for privileged people. Why aren't they reminding people that smoking is only allowed in the designated zones, to protect other travelers from the stinking fumes?
Well … just saw a trio of DB "Security" people walking down the platform. At least two of them smoking cigarettes. That explains it, i guess?

Some stations (usually smaller ones) are completely no-smoke … at least if you were to believe signs and rules. In practice, folks are just smoking all over the platform there ):
