I like having the power to "shhh" my kitten.A simple and effective way to shut off their brain for a second, make them stop thinking - and when I use it it's mostly overthinking - while also giving them the confidence of not having to worry about what they currently worry about, because I will handle it for them. Yes, technically, my "shhh" is an instruction, though one they'd never dare to disobey - but at the same time, it's a promise that I will take appropriate care of whatever is on their mind right now 🖤
