@kitten the thing isn’t what languages I want to learn (the answer is Farsi, Russian, and Arabic), the thing is what languages I should be trying to get into a state where I can’t just follow parliamentary debates pretty easily but also don’t take 5 minutes or more to turn a thought into a sentence (the answer is Dutch, French, and also Spanish because my grammar sucks)
