@kitten but also this is mostly brought on by the fact that my new employer (government) is required to pay into this specific fund, and I'm trying to find out if it might be worth it to pay even more into it

@LilaHexe the thing is, here we don't really do any of that, the public pension scheme already handles everything just by working and paying taxes

if that'll last for another 40 years, that's what I'm not sure about ​:blobfoxnotlikethis:​

Are you talking about BAV? Because there is an optimal amount you pay at which the employer pays the maximum subsidized rate.

The insurance broker my company hired, also gave me stock market offers for the BAV, that were at least less horrible.
