This one has never considered before that a major part of it dissociating under the shower might be that it is dissociating away the pain of standing up.

If this is true, it is the source of a really annoying feedback, where standing hurts, so it dissociates, which means it is standing even longer leading to even more pain

@rox I'm not sure if this is a viable solution, and know that one wasn't asked for, but I regularly sit while showering. specifically because I need that moment of relaxation and calmness. so, yeah.

@kitten This is what this one is thinking, but it realized this while under the shower, and one doesn't just get a seat from somewhere whilst under the shower.

(This one imagines you would sit on the floor, but in this one's opinion, then the water stream is too weak.)

@rox oh, yes, that would be inconvenient, my shower has a detachable head and that's what I use
