@lis you know, we have that g, and the g that is more like the "Spanish ch" (depending on the accent). but not a Spanish "general" g sound

@lis I guess I labeled it as "hard" because the "Granollers" G is like, very very short. while the "general" G can be slightly more elongated

@kitten @lis "general" is the J sound, which when followed by E or I is (in only some cases!) written instead as G

@mildsunrise @kitten the sound exists in German in some cases of β€œch” (β€œmachen”), as well as in Russian (Ρ…) and many other Slavic languages. It’s usually seen more as a derivative of the letter H in some way though
