sometimes I see and read about some of the cruel things happening in the world and... even if they are completely not the same, one can't help but think of the parallelism with some of the things that instead bring me, and us, so much joy and happiness

it's depressing...

and especially because...

I notice how difficult it already is to do that kind of things to consenting and desiring beings. it takes a lot of disinhibition, and even after the fact it can still take a toll on one. I would struggle with it.

seeing how there's people doing it so... carelessly. how easily they can ignore the non-consensual suffering they are causing... it's disheartening.

I'll also take the opportunity to comment that: in the past we've had it happen that people directly compared and equated some of the things Miss and I do to abuse.

do not do that. it's extremely fucked up to do that. just stop for a minute before doing it and think about what it does to us.

@kitten There really is no difference between [the difference between kink and abuse] and [the difference between sex and rape]. And this really needs to be communicated like that a lot more!
