@kitten you'd be surprised how many of my loose friends and family now only really communicate via AI-generated text. They genuinely use that stuff. If at 11:05 they suddenly felt like going on a camping trip with us some time, we would receive a two-page 'weekend plan' including an invitation at 11:07.

Lock in is so bad now people forget they can just leave, install a different app. They are holding the computer they own that shit.

If it sucks hit da bricks, Foss apps still exist they still offer a lightweight experience.
