:neocat_angry:
Thank you for your message. As a general rule, all passengers on Nightjet trains must comply with the general conditions of carriage and the usual standards of respectful and appropriate behaviour. This also applies to the use of private compartments. Even if private compartments are used exclusively by a single booking group, they must not be used in a manner that contravenes applicable legal provisions, compromises safety or order on the train, or, if visible, could cause a nuisance to other passengers or train staff. You can read the applicable conditions of carriage here Handbuch für Reisen mit dem ÖBB Nachtreisezug in Deutschland We therefore ask for your understanding that the compartments should be used exclusively for their intended purpose as travel and rest areas. Kind regards

silly lewd wait, do you think SNCF will have a different policy for their Intercités de Nuit?

damn, that'd leave ÖBB in such a bad position. imagine if even the SNCF was less of a pain than you

silly lewd @kitten SHOULD: This word, or the adjective "RECOMMENDED", mean that there may exist valid reasons in particular circumstances to ignore a particular item, but the full implications must be understood and carefully weighed before choosing a different course.

RFC 8174 does not exist and it cannot hurt me
