Huh, so Gibraltar, a UK territory, is now inside Schengen, with Schengen checks carried out by the Spanish national police. This now means that UK citizens entering Gibraltar… A British territory… Will need to go through EES. This is so strange. So an EU citizen can enter Gibraltar without checks, even though it’s not an EU country (but inside Schengen) but a UK citizen entering Gibraltar needs immigration authorisation, even though it’s a British territory
