actually bothering to ask and question what does something mean can get you more places than one would expect

I remember one time someone at work was presenting a planning document they were going to work on as a "proof of concept", and I didn't even know what was I doing in that meeting, but I was the only one who bothered to say "I feel like a text isn't a proof of concept. rather just...... a concept" and everyone was like "damn... they're right..."

@kitten "what precisely do you mean by $x" is a power phrase for getting projects to succeed. I can guarantee that in any meeting at least one person will have a different idea of what $x means.

Hell the last time this happened to me $x = "Done"

Me seeing this and wondering "what the heck is $x, is that some super weird censoring for sex? Like s*x with extra steps?"
But it's Persephone not talking about lewd things, that was unexpected /lh

Also I agree a lot :D
I ask a lot of questions, which is great overall, but some people don't like that, most often cause their knowledge is too shallow and they don't want to be "exposed" 🙃
