I have an e-scooter battery with 5 cables coming out of it. 2 thick ones and 3 thin ones.
The thick cables only show a voltage reading of 0.4V, so I suspect I need to do something to the three thin cables to get it to output 36 or 48V or whatever.
There's no voltage across any of the small cables, but two of the cables (green and yellow) are connected with a resistance of ~150 Ohms.
How dangerous or stupid is it if I just short the green and yellow cables, and then see if the thick cables start delivering power?
