asking for advice, kink, piss soooo

fedi, I know this is usually the kind of stuff people come to ask me about, but today is the day where I'm the one asking for advice

so, how could one go in order to play with piss at bed without getting it wet? would a waterproof sheet just do? maybe some absorbent pads too? some kind of plastic cover...?

also, would one just hope for nothing to spill over the sides, or assume that it'll happen and just plan for it somehow/deal with it after?

asking for advice, kink, piss @kitten I thought I'd seen water proof sheets with a built in pool noodle like thing to create a raised lip around the edge of the bed to prevent spillages. But searching now I can't find one. I guess you could put a loop of pool noodle under the waterproof sheet to create a barrier to stop your piss going all over the floor.

RE: asking for advice, kink, piss @kitten When I was a kid and would wet the bed sometimes, I think my bioparents had a waterproof mattress cover that the bottom sheet would go over. So you'd have to wash the sheets but the mattress would be fine. Also I'd recommend testing with water and seeing how that goes

Woven plastic tarps are popular as a base to put a tent on top of for camping. A canvas sheet to catch dripping paint may be considered a tarp. A nonporous plastic sheet may be a tarp used to cover furniture for bedbug fumigation, dust prevention, or pissing on the bed without getting piss on the bed.

asking for advice, kink, piss @kitten If you want to do it on the bed, yeah, a plastic sheet … but it will inevitably land on the floor, so you probably want to cover the sides of the bed and the floor area around the bed as well …

I was told by friends, that they use two layers of protective fitted sheets on their 1,8m by 2 m bed and on top of that an incontinence sheet and then two more regular fitted sheets, so it will get soaked up in the sheets intentionally.
Spill will only happen that way if one of them stands up and hits the other with a stream. Else it just will get soaked into the dedicated sheets.
You can still make it work without the redundancy and the extra sheet.

i can definitely recommend those (at least their pride one)
have had one for a few months now, and even though its on the pricy side, i really like it.

had a normal incontinence protector to be put under the bedsheet and two whashable puppy pads for quite some time longer, and the biggest difference is how formable it is.
both the bed protector and the puppypads are quite thick in comparison.

also its very big, which is really nice as well (the bed pad is the my beds width but a bit shorter, and the puppy pads are just alltogether a different shape

one thing i do need to note, which has happened to me some times,
due to it being so thin and conforming to the body its quite easy to create a sealed zone, which can lead to liquid shooting out at quite a high rate of speed in various directions...

in comparison to the other forms of absorbant pads/protectors they also dont really suck away from one spot and disperse it into the whole blanket
(the puppy pad for example will very much suck up all liquid on it even if a specific spot is saturated by dispersing it to a part where its not wet yet, with the splashblanket this happens a LOT slower / not necessarely at all i think)

The gotcha is that some are only waterproof across the top and not sides and that would worry me if we’re talking any position other than laying, such as the person peeing standing up or someone rolling around

i would only trust it if it covered the sides too.

Breathability varies hugely too if you plan to leave them on the bed full time.

re: asking for advice, kink, piss @kitten the problem with waterproof, water resistant, or even plastic sheets or covers is that the pee will just kind of collect on top and will drain to the floor, etc, during play.

So, like, they're good for if you're prepared for all of the potential hassle of that.

But what we'd usually suggest is absorbent things to soak up the pee, and then all you have to do is stick those things in the wash and you're done.

Most of the time these things will go on top of the mattress, but beneath the mattress covers, but obviously you can just place them anywhere.

They'll come in various sizes and styles, too, which means you can either cover just a portion of the bed or the whole thing.

The ones I use (primarily for catching accidents, not for NSFW stuff) only cover a portion of my mattress, but likely wouldn't be useful for more widespread activity.

Failing all of that, towels are a good stop-gap, and puppy pads, etc.

But yeah, I'd go with absorbent over resistant.

asking for advice, kink, piss @kitten I knew a person once I had a short thing with. tended to be leaky in bed (involuntary). there are latex/plastic incontinence sheets for the matress that go on like normal ones. you can even put a normal bed sheet on top. more soft, less splash when you move around and you just take it off to wash. should be available both from kink and healthcare shops

Re: asking for advice, kink, piss @kitten I don't have any experience with piss play in bed but many water proof mattress covers have a thicker absorbent lining on top, to soak up any fluids. I guess this would increase the chances of nothing ending up on the floor
But depending on what you are going for, it could also ruin the fun because you just end up with wet textile instead of a real puddle (like on top of plain plastic sheets)
