this thing hotels seem to like doing of having two individual blankets for double beds instead of a large one

or they just ask folks to specify that upon booking. maybe some hotels can be asked to make such a change days before check-in. etc.

Even when sleeping together in a bed, I still strongly prefer having my own blanket (in fact, I might not be able to sleep without my own - I'm a bit weird with sleeping).

@ayke @kitten yeah we sleep much worse if we have to share blanket. shared mattress is acceptable but I would prefer separate ones. I like hard bed!

@eudaimonia @kitten yes, that also. My ideal would be two separate beds next to each other, but with a thingy in between the mattresses that it feels like one. That way, I don't wake up from a partner moving in their sleep.

That said, I am starting to get used to sleeping together in a single big bed.

like ive shared a double bed with my sister and there's no way in hell we share a blanket (she keeps all of it for herself), but with a so? pls shared blanket🥺
