I need to sew to craft something but I have no idea where to start with

I want to use a shower cap to make some kind of "neck cover", to cover my collar while showering. but yeah, difficult

as I progress with this it feels even more difficult

maybe instead of sewing an elastic strip I could just have one of those adjustable strings with a plastic clip

@kitten I’m a bit concerned about what would happen if you stopped washing that part of your skin because you want to keep the collar dry

@lis hmm, yeah, it feels like a bad idea to do that, but I could still do it separately, with a sponge and such, so it still wouldn't soak the collar
