@kitten@iro_miya hey just because it's obvious doesn't mean anyone is going to act on it I met Antonia for the first time on a Wednesday, and in retrospect I absolutely cannot believe we didn't kiss, but neither of us asked and we waited until the second time that we met on the following Monday (which was essentially when she moved in with me)

@kitten@iro_miya I don't think I've ever asked anyone for cuddles, and I'm pretty sure I've never asked anyone for kisses As you will probably have noticed, Antonia is someone who is very open to physical closeness and who offers it a lot. I'm very different, I have a really hard time with opening up this way. It's not unusual for me to sit beside her while she is cuddling some friend that I wouldn't feel comfortable cuddling. I believe there are exactly three people in this world who met me, offered cuddles within the first half hour of meeting, and received a yes from me^^

affection@kitten similarly, I had a case a few days ago where that girl moved next to me and we started snuggling and looking at each others' eyes, and even though it was getting obvious, I asked "are you into me?" and she said "yeah,, what about you, are you also into me?" and I said "yeah" and that was so freaking hot and it did escalate into me asking for a kiss
Honestly, the verbal stuff was more hot because it reflected truly the reciprocity of out feelings
@iro_miya@kitten i don't like nonverbal consent, because it's always so uncertain. i think i sorta manage to do it, with people who prefer to not do verbal consent, but it's less fun.
i miss having close friends, where we just have established rules for shit, and i can trust them to tell me if i do something wrong
