it has happened enough times to me that I am having sex with someone, and I forgot to put my phone in silent mode, and I start receiving notifications or calls or whatever.and you know the one thing that is very useful there? a ring/silent mode slider on the side of the phone. I can locate it easily, just by touch with one hand, without having to even look at it. I know which direction is silent mode, so I know I'll be setting it to silent without needing confirmation, the slider itself will be the confirmation. it's also idempotent, so I don't need to worry about "pressing it twice, reengaging the sound mode" or anything.
so, yeah, more manufacturers should keep that in their phones. phones should be sex-friendly in general
