there's a lot of "drama" associated to these kind of events and in a way it's legitimate, issues and mistakes should be pointed out and discussed (and some are less excusable)but I also see some general negativity and cynicism that just... feels plain unhealthy, and not really constructive
there were fuck-ups at WHY. responsibilities should be taken and it should be prevented in the future. but still, I loved the event, I had a super nice time, and I'm super happy to have decided to come here.
I saw and heard some similar stuff regarding the FLINTA cruising from last weekend, and I feel exactly the same, with the difference that in there I can't even think of any actual issues (also, in that case it was sometimes coated in a layer of slutshaming that some people should really work on).
